He is committed to building a program that strengthens youth through athletics, education, and cultural identity. He believes sports are a powerful tool for teaching life skills, promoting healthy lifestyles, and developing future leaders within the Menominee community. Under his leadership, the organization continues to expand opportunities for young athletes while fostering respect, unity, and community pride.

Gary serves on the MYNA Board and has a lifelong commitment to the youth through coaching, helping shape the next generation of leaders. Alongside his wife Catherine, and

Gary serves on the MYNA Board and has a lifelong commitment to the youth through coaching, helping shape the next generation of leaders. Alongside his wife Catherine, and their children - Leyla, Olivia, Eugene, CJ, Nikkolas, and Asenik, Gary is dedicated to creating opportunities that strengthen families and empower the Menominee community.

I have dedicated over 23 years to the success of our youth, with a spe

Posoh! My name is Lori Besaw, and I am a proud member of the Menominee Nation. As a mother of one residing and working within our Menominee community, I serve as the Native Connections Coordinator for the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin’s Youth Services Department. I have dedicated over 23 years to the success of our youth, with a specialized focus on mental health awareness and suicide prevention. A licensed Prevention Specialist with the State of Wisconsin since 2011, I am currently pursuing an Associate degree in Liberal Studies at the College of Menominee Nation. I truly believe our youth can thrive when we provide consistent encouragement and positive support

After graduating I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps for 4 yrs where I was honorably discharged. I’m currently a volunteer firefighter for keshena fire department a currently a Finish Carpenter for Menominee Tribal hou

 Hello my name Craig Penass Sr the Vice President of MNYA. I’m a 2002 graduate of Menominee Indians high school. After graduating I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps for 4 yrs where I was honorably discharged. I’m currently a volunteer firefighter for keshena fire department a currently a Finish Carpenter for Menominee Tribal housing for the last 15 years. I been the coach for Keshena Little League for the last 7 yrs an assistant coach for our travel baseball teams. Helped with the hoops basketball program when needed. I hope to see are youth athletics program help as much youth as possible in are community to help them become better athletes.
